The highly contagious Delta variant is driving them nuts. I think this is now impacting many people who previously were fortunate enough not to know anyone who hospitalized or died. They are seeing that the recommended treatments from quacks are not performing as they expected. Their minds are struggling to process this and they are lashing out. At this point, they are retreating further into denial rather than admitting they were wrong.
Sorry. I know that’s very judgmental of me. But I’m mad today.
I’m not mad, but you are, interesting.
I asked some how people changing their minds and getting vaccinated affects them and all I got was more flames.
CDC Says Vaccinated May Be as Likely to Spread COVID as Unvaxxed, as Reports of Serious Injuries After Vaccines Surge • Children's Health Defense @ChildrensHD @RobertKennedyJr

This would explain the extreme defensiveness and name calling.

I’m pretty sure that I’m on the Q follower’s list as a Branch Covidian, but one would hope that it should still be possible to have an open discussion about therapeutics as well as vaccines, even now that the vax are widely available here in the US.
So when we talk about internet quacks, and there are a lot of them, are we also talking about Pierre Kory, Paul Merik, and Tess Lawrie? Are they quacks?
Especially in an environment where we’re seeing some breakthrough infections, and limitations on the availability of the monoclonal antibody therapies, would it not be prudent to give serious consideration to therapeutics that ARE available? (I’m speaking strictly relative to outpatient, viral stage illness.)
The question gets harder yet when one considers third world countries without access to vaccines. Seems irresponsible to just throw up one’s hands and lump Kory et. al, in with the raving lunatics selling magic potions and utterly baseless foolishness.
Its ok — judgments are generally based on fact unless you want to base it on whacky conspiracy theory. That being said, in our hospitals here — still absolutely ZERO critically ill who have been vaccinated, and 99%+ admissions are UNVACCINATED. You are correct, the numbers speak for themselves. 170 M vaccinated, insignificant number hospitalized. Even with delta accounting for approximately 90% of the disease at present.
I like your statement — treatments of the quacks not performing as expected — those are the treatments copied and pasted ad nauseam by the faux experts who have nothing better to do than claim expertise with no foundational knowledge.
