From one of the comments in the article:

In order to issue an EUA, 2 basic things must be present: an emergency and no other potential treatment. Now, look back over the last 18 months and see how often any mention of potential treatment was immediately shot down and is now being censored. Why? That is what keeps me up late at night.

I am generally not much of a conspiracy theorist but this statement gives me pause.
