I guess I am confused! They have always told us that the viruses die off in the summer. This is the hottest time of this year. Why are we having a “surge” in cases? Is there a logical answer, or is it more fear porn?

Since the definition of a “case” is ridiculously broad and confusing, increasing by 50 in a population of many millions is nothing more than “fun with stats”.
Los Angeles had among the strictest lockdowns and most scared and compliant populations. But now they’re out and about again, and thus catching the Chinese Flu.
