Is the beretta model 86 .380 acp the largest tip up barrel auto? Is the feature limited to blow back actions by function or expense? You would think they would be out there for those with weak hands if it was possible.

I did a quick search, there was something called a Jo Lo Ar, a Spanish pistol put out the 1920’s. It had both a tip up barrel and a lever that allowed you to cock/chamber with one hand, but no trigger guard. I guess Peru ordered a bunch for their cavalry in 9mm largo and Portugal ordered some too. They supposedly made some in .45 acp as well. They were blow back as well, so probably beefy spring and heavy slide.

OYOH, if you live in Kansas, your story lacks some credibility. Yes, there are earthquakes in the midwest, but damned few avalanches. If you live in Kansas, your guns were sucked up by a tornado.
