All I can say to you and others is: take good care of your body, especially your lungs!
Before becoming a truck driver in 2001, I always had physical work on the farm, coupled with some running or bicycling with my sons. After becoming a driver, I continued to work out when possible, getting the ‘burn’ in my lungs as the sign of maximum usage. At 66, its just silly to try to maintain big muscles, so I don’t. I have a healthy heart and don’t want it to have to service any more tissue than necessary.
I had the covid for almost three weeks in Jan 2020. Didn’t know what it was at the time, but was well enough to drive truck and avoid people as much as possible.
I kept up my exercise efforts (as an act of defiance against a ‘bug’, I suppose). It was a couple of weeks later, when the news was covid 24/7, that I became aware of what I most likely had.
I’ve developed pulmonary emboli....which I didn’t need and which may or may not dissipate ...
So I got concerned lately seeing folks like Phil valentine in critical care
Figured I’d check antibodies first
I clocked in at 17.9
Normal read is 0-.9
And I had it 16-17 months ago...
No question natural antibodies trump vax
