‘Chat’ is the test ground for FR. So is the category (non-news) ‘medicine/health’ where a lot of questionable articles are tossed in the air for discussion and reaction. The article itself is an air toss - the author acknowledges it is based on a diary.
This is a story about struggling to adjust. Less about patients and more about the human condition. Whether it's a composite or not; I think most here ‘got’ the underlying and relatable theme.

It’s a shame when Freepers post propaganda. There are a plethora of tweets and “news” stories like this circulating lately. They are designed to encourage people to draw certain conclusions. You fell for it and are now embarrassed, as you should be.

My local hospital has a big golden sign “ Heroes work here” Right after they put it up they removed merit raises and cut shift differentials. I see your “thanks for being an RN” in the same light.
