GO USA!!!
Bronze medal in the women’s marathon was awesome.
Nelly Korda in a current battle for golf gold.
Have not watched a second with no regrets.
Sorry....but I really don’t give a ****.
With all the really important crap going on today, this is the last thing that I am worried about.
The convention used by the IOC is to sort by the number of gold medals the athletes from a country have earned. ... In the event of a tie in the number of gold medals, the number of silver medals is taken into consideration, and then the number of bronze medals.
The women’s marathon was terrific. Molly Seidel of Wisconsin ran a great race in horrid conditions and won bronze. Great interview afterwards.
The Kenyan’s, who went 1-2, looked like they didn’t want anything to do with her immediately after the race.
Here in Oz in the media, they have China in first place because of the number of gold metals. Haven’t see it reported with points for gold, silver, etc.
medals
You must admit, New Zealand and Cuba punch above their weight.
Watching and enjoying. Great kids representing their countries, extraordinarily talented and terrific examples for other kids.
Who cares? Politics has ruined that too.
I have to say that I saw the Kenyans heartily embracing her and looking very happy for her.
Molly was definitely a highlight for me.
Yup
Happy for the true patriots that win
The rest i hope get ground into the dust
Go Australia over us womens soccer
The entire Anglosphere ranking in the top 15.
How is Cuba doing better than say, Brazil?
I haven’t watched any of the Olympics but I am feeling some pride over our #1 medals standing.
“You must admit, New Zealand and Cuba punch above their weight.”
Seeing as most of Cuba’s medals come from boxing, you are very right on that one.
There are some who are veryhappy and proud torepresent America, not the anthem hating woketards using their time to make political statements and crap on their country
the Kenyan’s eventually did embrace her- or at least one kenyan did- you are correct...but watch the first few minutes when they initially paraded around with their flags- it looked to me like they wanted nothing to do with Molly.
I agree...once they cooled down a little they were all very happy. Molly Seidel from Wisconsin getting the bronze in the marathon was the highlight of the Olympics for me. An unknown who wasn’t expected to be in contention. “Drink a beer for me”...classic interview!
