In case you’re wondering why nobody declares war anymore, yet we seem to be in a never ending war...well, wonder no more.

Not mentioned in the above article is that international trade would be severely effected also, many of our ships and planes based in other countries would have to move lest we involve a third party in the “war” which does not want to be involved.

So, as a result, we will never again declare war. Police actions! Oh, well, you can’t have too many police actions, now, can you?

It has always been my view that the United Nations ‘moratorium’ on warfare is creating a pressure cooker effect on global politics. The pressure keeps increasing because the wars are always artificially resolved. They resolve the conflicts without addressing the underlying issues. Like with gun control, only the one’s willing to abide by the rules have to follow them. And there’s an increasing number that do not.

Ultimately the pressure cooker will explode and it will be an ugly ugly scene.
