There’s been talk of a by-the-mile tax for about twenty years. The technology is there. Your phone knows where you are at all times and how fast you’re going. My guess is that’s what they’ll use. In which case, I’ll just leave it at home.

There will be a minimum tax for those who do not have a phone, forgot to pay their bill, etc. Nobody escapes what the government demands.
