The Delta variant of COVID-19 seems to have stopped the Obamas in their tracks -- the ex-President's birthday bash has been canceled.
A rep for 44 broke the news Wednesday, saying the Obamas would not be hosting nearly 500 celebs and others with a staff of around 200. We're told the Obamas were planning the event for months, and struggled to make it COVID safe, but the Delta variant made it too dangerous ... especially because the CDC now says vaccinated people can spread the virus just as easily as non-vaccinated folks.

He’s not cancelling anything....he will STILL have a huge party!! Everyone will be threatened if they spill the beans.
They say that the Democrats have no shame. They don’t... have any, it’s true. But, when the polls show that these liars are not getting the support they need to squeak by, and losing it precipitously, they walk it all back. Cuomo might well be on his way out, now that apparently critical mass has been achieved regarding his many crimes, despite the governor’s lies.
I’m not sure I understand the motives of some folks. In this case I’m not talking about Soetero, et al.
I’m talking about all the hysterical folks that were bashing his birthday plans.
What would have been better?
Going bananas over the party and getting it canceled?

Letting it happen and then showing the world what a bunch of hypocritical POSs all of them are?
I chose the latter from Day One and now it may seem like 20/20 hindsight, whatever. Let them do what they want and call them out, afterward. Their displays of hypocrisy are even worse, after the fact.
Even that won’t work at this point. They don’t care about anything but their image. And if they do something now, it just fuels their hypocrisy and makes it harder for them to push their agendas.
Their ass was hanging out just too far on this one. Takes a lot to penetrate the God Emperor’s ego.
doubt that about Jekyll, not secluded enough and their landing strip cannot handle much more than a piper. Also, JP Morgan and the gang who went there actually built things.

If it keeps people from dying, or out of the hospital, then it IS a great vaccine.
Nobody ever promised the vaccine guaranteed you wouldn’t catch or spread the virus - all along the hope/promise was that it would keep most people out of the hospital, and almost everybody in the medical field believes it IS delivering on that promise.
