Husband, youngest of 3 boys and 1 girl, lived in Pearl City during his middle school years. (Their dad, now deceased, was career Navy, retired after 23 years as Chief Petty Officer.) Anyway, they were called this regurlarly and he “had to fight his way home every day after school.” He has some stories, including his oldest brother being sent home to Virginia to live with their grandparents to finish his senior year!
