Not this one. I don’t own a mask and didn’t wear one even when it was mandated.
Mask is a perfect visual symbol of government controlling you.
I’ve done their mask stuff, had the virus, now they’re telling me do more and calling me their little names because I’m the problem. No thanks.
We don’t have a mask mandate. When we get one then my toxic masculinity will kick in.
Yeah...I’m sick of “toxic stupidity”. The first sentence makes an assertion that isn’t valid. First, the federal government can’t mandate masks to citizens. Second, there’s zero evidence of masks making any significant impact. They just keep making the assertion they do - and in this case as a basis to attack men and go on a diatribe.
Marxism, Social Justice Nirvana, and Heretical Modernist Catholic Utopian Thinking, all wrapped up into one lovable little fuzzball.
But isn’t that the point? Masculinity has been renamed “toxic masculinity”, whereas effeminacy is allowed and encouraged to run rampant.
I wear a mask when required because in this case, consideration of others trumps my individual rights. It’s the same reason that I don’t beat off to porn in a public library, even though it is my individual right to do so. I am thinking about the greatest generation, who faced Hitler and Mao, and doesn’t want to bite the dust getting a gallon of milk from Walmart.
You and I know that there’s nothing wrong with masculinity - it’s a good thing.
Their point is to reduce masculinity to the cliche of men being dumb and stubborn - like the classic myth of men refusing to ask for directions when they are lost.
