Without reading the article, I was trying to think of all of the VPs in the 1970s, and who was less popular than Harris. Ford? Nah. Rockefeller? Nah. Mondale? Nah. That leaves good old Spiro T. Ding ding ding!

I was trying to think of all of the VPs in the 1970s, and who was less popular than Harris.

The media had their knives out for Dan Quayle and did their best to destroy him. I don't recall his polling numbers though.

Agnew was unpopular, but only with the pinko-commie Dems and especially the press - "the nattering nabobs of negativism."
