His father, Curtis Ewers, informed Yahoo Sports of his son's decision. Prior to the NIL change, Ewers was headed into his senior season at Southlake Carroll High School, located outside Dallas.

Is High School necessary? It's not just football. It's better opportunities that exist elsewhere. H's an elite athlete but aren't there other endeavors where one can follow their dream?
