The other “active” ingredient which supposedly destroys the virus is grapefruit seed extract. I guess I can see the acidity of that potentially killing the virus.
I’ve been mixing a few drops of grapefruit seed oil into my saline sprays for years - it has natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and may help against viruses too...
