I think the virus is impacted by a couple of things.
If we continue to go down the road of a borderless road, there is no saving us, we will be decimated by disease. People will spread viruses around and those with compromised immune systems will act as incubators for mutations. That, coupled with a large number of people refusing vaccination will put us into an arms race with any virus that comes along, so every six months until it burns itself out, but looking at Sweden vs Norway, I’d rather go the Norway route since it doesn’t seem to be burning itself out anytime soon.

The young healthy people are vaccinated for the same reason young healthy people were vaccinated against polio and smallpox. If you are vaccinated it is highly unlikely your body will produce and spread the virus.
Covid had a big bunch of young people who had no symptoms but spread the virus, or it mutated in them as it spread.

Nope! Provincetown should be enough information to dissuade you from this argument. 80% of those who came down with the disease were vaccinated. And most of the crowd was vaccinated. They spread it. Some got hospitalized. And this is just how its going to be.
In Israel they got the Pfizer vaccine mostly. And they got it far earlier. Now many of them are coming down with the virus. Since the vaccine was given earlier, they can track how many people who are getting the disease have been vaccinated and when. Its clear that many who got vaccinated are getting the disease. And through their research its clear that those who have gone the longest since their last shot are getting the disease in larger numbers. This is not to say that the unvaccinated aren’t getting it more. Its just to say that the vaccine clearly wears off in a few months for some people. And that the delta version of the virus swept through Israel, a largely vaccinated country.
The polio vaccine has long term effects. Not so with the Corona vaccine. Which is why we still all get colds each year.
At best you can say that the vaccine will (and has) reduced the deaths and cases. Mostly this is true because it was first given to the most at risk population. And its true that at the same time, a large percentage of the population had gotten the disease and survived.
What you can never defend is the argument that vaccines will eradicate this disease or even reduce it so as to stop it from spreading around the world and even in America every year for now on. There is no evidence that eradication is a possibility in any population.
Except we are not talking about small pox vaccines here. Small pox vaccines were not created as part of an elaborate hoax to help steal an election and put Dementia Joe in the white House, like the covid vaccine was.

Until 2020, the synthetic Messenger RNA was considered an injectable gene therapy, NOT a vaccine.
I had the polio and smallpox vaccine, my kids got their shots, etc. I’m not “anti-vaccine.”
