Novavax is pinning its hopes on contracts it has to supply 1.1 billion doses of its vaccine to developing countries such as India, Pakistan and throughout Africa. The company also points to ongoing discussions it is having with countries such as Japan, which could potentially order 150 million doses of its vaccine. Regardless, Novavax’s Covid-19 vaccine does not look likely to be rolled out in the near term and is unlikely to have a material impact on the company’s 2021 earnings.

It’s been volatile, and at 179/180 still not a bargain. If it drops to 150 I’m getting back in. The technology is interesting, but I’m still looking at it as a short-term “fun bet”, rather than a buy and hold stock.

There vaccine may appeal to a lot of people who are hesitant to take the mRNA based vaccines. The NovaVax vaccines is a traditional vaccine like the annual flu vaccine, in that it uses depleted copies of the virus that the body teaches itself to fight.
I won’t take the mRNA vax, but I will that the NovaVax vaccine and suspect there are a lot of thinking people out there who would as well, plus there might be many who took the mRNA vaccine who will take this as a booster.

The “pandemic” Isn’t a big enough pandemic for me to take any vaccine. The only person I know who has covid now, is a fully vaxxed person.
I went to work every day since this thing started with 35 other people. We didn’t wear masks or social distanced. None of us got covid
