We made a BIG mistake when we ever started trying to have relations of any kind with the Chinese communists. They lie, they cheat, they steal, they murder. In fact, they do everything our parents ever warned us about filthy communism. Why didn’t we listen?

Disagree ! It was a smart move strategically at the the time. It helped collapse the Soviet Union. The mistake was our failure to adequately support the Tiananmen Square dissidents. Then convincing ourselves it did matter that we failed to do it.

We were warned about foreign entanglements long ago. Now there are loads of Chinese spies here. Feinstein’s personal driver for 20 years was a Chinese spy. The Chinese played her like a fiddle, way up in her business. And it all magically went away like it was something insignificant.
