I don’t know that we will ever come to that, but this is an example of how many governments view their citizens today...governments that only recently were considered democratic and sensitive to public opinion.
There are more “gentle” ways of accomplishing the same goals and the public should be aware that eventually many of those methods will be used.
Freedom can be lost in many ways other than by violence and armies.

Their response is perfect. In fact, they need to clamp down harder and really put the boot in.
