Thank you but it’s just the way I am.

Try to force me to do something, and I’ll do the opposite, just because.

In retrospect, it kept me out of trouble as a teen.

I wasn’t a crowd follower. Since they had no use for me, I didn’t care if they liked me or not because I knew they already didn’t, so the peer pressure was not an issue.

Then I’d do stuff just to be different.

So when someone tells me, *Everyone is doing it*, my first reaction is *Not everyone*.
