You could do what I did and ask your doctor. I hope that, unlike my doctor, he gives you a straight answer. My doctor said that he does not have the vaccine (or shot because it is not a vaccine). He cannot give me the shot because it is not available to him.
I will ask again on 8/3 as I have a regular check up.
He does not wear a mask in the exam room and does not require it.
Then they set up tents for drive-through vaccinations or you have to go to a pharmacy.
No wonder there are adverse reactions with medical injury and deaths.
I didn't ask my doctor, who is actually my Endocrinologist, but doubles as my family doctor. He asked me about six months ago if I was planning on getting the vaccine. I told him "no," and he asked me why. I told him that they didn't even have an accurate test for Covid, so why would I get the vaccine? Seems I was proven right, since the CDC has recently said that they are removing the Emergency Use Authorization for the PCR test (first done in February 2020), and as of December 31st, they will no longer be using that specific test. Why they're waiting until the end of the year is beyond me. I believe they've known from the beginning that the test can't delineate between Covid and the flu. Just more bullshit from bureaucrats.
