Basically he says while Cheney is widely despised back home in Wyoming and loses big head to head if all her challengers are on the ballot then she can survive by splitting the vote.
This has got to be our worst nightmare?!
I doubt all of her challengers will mount strong campaigns but no doubt she will help the weaker ones with some dirty tricks...
Praying that Republicans in the state get behind just one of them - along with Trump - and force the others out.

I guess it’s going to mean more than a normal endorsement and Trump will actually go there to hammer it home and get whoever it is over the line.
He can't just pick one. He needs to show up and have a rally for his choice. Maybe a couple.
To clarify, he can’t just endorse someone. He needs to go the extra mile and hold rallies.
Trump can spend a couple of days and see 90% of the population. Bring Melania and Ivanka and put them in some sharp outfits and do some horseback riding, go hunting with Don Jr., the only votes Cheney will get will be from the libs in Laramie and Jackson Hole.
I hope he does put in the effort. It seems to me he will because Don Jr is involved and that is good news IMO.
Not exactly, She lost the primary tona tea party guy, no vote splitting, she won in the general in a write in campaign. The courts overruled the law and allowed misspelled write ins for the cow to count, think only 2nd successful write in for senator ever. Lot of others vote splitting but the cows race wasn’t one of them

My understanding is that her State is a 'cross-over" State, whereby anybody can vote for any primary candidate.
Cheney is a master fund raiser, and one of the reasons why the GOPe want to keep her, in the first place.

That happened in California in 1986 when 11 conservatives and one liberal ran for the GOP Senate nomination to take on an unpopular and vulnerable Democrat incumbent. The liberal, Ed Zschau (rhymes, appropriately, with Mao) won the GOP nomination with 37% of the vote because the other candidates split up the conservative votes. Many conservatives then went fishing on Election Day and the Democrat went on to a narrow win.
Correct. But I recall that it wasn’t only allowing misspelling. They actually allowed voters to take a written copy of her name in the booth to ensure they spelled it correctly and a lot of native Alaskans did that.
Republicans can always put a democrat in when November comes. One of 435. Rent it out for 2 years and then take it back.
