People loved the lock down. Sit at home, watch YouTube endlessly, get some money, not really worry about bills.
Many careers were launched on 2020. Lots of influential people made lots of money.
As an uber delivery driver my income doubled over giving rides to drunk, insolent a-holes. Life was good.
The rest of the world was oppressed. And still is. To be Frank though, these people LOVE being told what to do and when to do it. They are socialists who are many generations divided from memories of freedom, bravery or sacrifice.
“They” is us.. basically. This is happening not because of shadowy figures behind curtains. The driving force in this ludicrous tyranny are the victims.
Sadly, we are now 2 generations divided from the last free, brave and hard working generations. If we don’t turn this around (starting in our own home) then it won’t come back until things get really bad. Think “black mirror” style bad. When we’re might actually be chained down and forced labor, or just left to die.
I have no comfortable, peaceful solutions. People will need to die en-masse. I look forward to the cataclysmic earth flip and subsequent solar micro nova.
Don’t make fun of me. That’s my only reasonable hope.
Before that though I fear I may need to take up arms and fight alone. Because my family will not be subjected to being held down and forced injections.
The country will definitely split. I am in the south for that single reason.
I see the same as you do with the younger set. Heads in their technology, comfortable on the couch with food delivery. I know. I work in high tech. They want socialism. They love being led around by the nose. Not all but the majority.
