I work as a nurse. Even most of *us* can tell the difference.
Difficult if not impossible to teach any kind of applicable medicine without, at some time, entering into the concept that distinct biological differences exist between those who possess XX chromosomes and those who possess XY chromosomes.
“Transgender” is biologically impossible. The underlying cellular structure remains unchanged, no amount of hormones or body mutilations can EVER change that. At best, a male can become neuter, or a female can become neuter, but the chromosome conformation remains for a lifetime.

“Gynecologist” is based on a Greek word for “woman”. They’ll have to change that hateful word as well.
Since the beginning of humanity, around 50% of people have been born with organs that, when matured, support the conception and bearing of children. Wouldn’t it be medically useful to have a word for people with that condition?
Maybe I (a Man) should make a gyno appointment and have him/her/it check my vag to see what the hell is going on down there?-)
