Where does wealth come from? Did Marx really understand this?
Three of the most successful American entrepreneurs in recent history are Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk. All three of these brilliant entrepreneurs invested money to make more money, the primary principle of capitalism, and revolutionized the computer and electric car industries. In addition to make fortunes for themselves, these heroes created thousands of jobs and significantly increased wealth around the world.
In 1977 at the age of only 22 years old Steve Jobs along with Stephen Wozniak created Apple Computer by investing their own savings to produce the personal computer Wozniak designed, the Apple II. The product was a great financial success and, step by step, creating irresistible product after irresistible product, Jobs guided Apple into ultimately acquiring today’s market capitalization of over $2 trillion!
Foxconn, a Taiwanese company, actually builds the iPhone for Apple at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou city plant in Henan province, one of China’s poorest provinces. Foxconn provides entry-level jobs for as much as 350,000 poor Chinese youths, primarily 16-29 years of age, from the surrounding farms who have limited alternatives and are glad to be hired.
Although Karl Marx (1818-1883) lived in England during its era of exponential growth in wealth, being a communist, he hated the entrepreneurs (capitalists) and “Jewish usurers” who were responsible for this growth.
In Marx’s view, a company’s profits should belong to the workers who assemble its products. This would mean, for example, that all of Apple’s profits from the iPhone should belong to the entry-level Foxconn workers who assemble it. To Marx, it would be irrelevant that these workers have no idea how the iPhone works, did not and could not design it, and did not invest any money to produce it.

Marx may have known, but he wanted to destroy it.
Marx was right in that free trade was destructive and would lead to socialism then communism.
From a Bulgarian writer:
Marxist Explanations of the Rise of Contemporary Oligarchy
“Abstract:
The ideas of Karl Marx experience a renaissance in the contemporary world of neoliberal global capitalism. The thesis of the state as a “weapon of class dominance” is especially current in the process of oligarchization of politics under the mask of liberal democracy. We try to explain the rise of the contemporary oligarchy with the methodology of Marxism (neomarxism). The content is structured around three statements: a) The oligarchs are treated as a class; b) Oligarchy is legitimized with ideology; c) Current capital accumulation has reached unprecedented concentration in the hands of the few. The conclusion draws paths for anti-oligarchic resistance.”

Marx was a loser.
And his followers are losers.
The only people who made a living from Marxism were professors and politicians who advocated Marxism?
Do as I say not as I do.
Name a great Marxist inventor.
Name a contribution to soviety by a Marxist.
He had a nice beard.
It likely litterally smelled as did Marx.
The manufacturing in Marx time was still mostly manu (manual) job.
Capitalists build facilities, set up factories, bought parts and hired workers. Then sold the products and got paid. It could look like the workers did all the job.
Marx totally discarded the the value of invention, management, organization, innovation and commerce.
The inventors, designers, managers, sales and marketing were just parasites, totally useless for generating any value. They lived by exploiting the sweat of the poor, exploited workers.
He did not missed these people, he actually argued that they are just useless exploiting parasites, skimming the real workers.
The USA now in Marxist view is actually some kind of global capitalist, exploiting poor workers in China. It must be brought down!
“If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
Joe McCarthy did.
You are so wrong, free trade has no relationship to the spread of communism.
What we have today is not free trade, we have remnants of our convoluted trade policies from right after WW II.
Uncle sugar gave away US tax payer dollars many via trade policies, trying to rebuild the world and buy friends around the globe.
Today's free trade is comparable to our payment to the UN, we pay the lions share, and get pissed on by the entire world
Yet the followers of his ideology are on the verge of transforming America into a marxist society. A sad situation, but not bad for a bunch of losers 😞
Bill Gates “created jobs” and lied to Congress about the availability of degreed professionals so he could import cheap labor.
In Marx view, the purchasers and the sale people were just in business of cheating the suppliers and the customers. The costs of facilities, parts, management, engineering etc, were just some constant and variable costs to be passed to customers and the !Only! real value created was done by the workers.
It was always wrong to thing that way, but in Marx time, the workers were actually bigger part of the business than they are now, so it could look little more plausible then.
We are the free trade suckers in a mercantile world.
Do Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos know what they are talking about? They have become super rich in the American system, but are so stupid that they want to turn this country marxist. (They, of course, would get to keep their riches).
Marx was a lazy, angry, self-centered person who hated capitalism in large measure because he resented his father - who kept pushing him to finish his education and have a trade or profession. Hundreds of millions have died, and many millions have suffered because of his emotional immaturity, anger/resentment, and narcissism. Great legacy.
He developed a system of economics and morality that holds envy to be a noble virtue. But the goal of envy is to diminish the object of that envy. It’s unwholesome and destructive.
There is something in some people..that the only thing that drives them is a desire to prove right is wrong and wrong is right.
And the only way the majority will tolerate this insane premise is if you force them to accept it.
It’s a need to control or inflict suffering or feel powerful..
Capitalism along with charity has done more to advance civilization.. including technical and medical advances..then Marxist philosophy
.which has never worked and never will work.
But they can’t resist it..because it allows the do nothing’s to fool themselves,or everyone else, in to thinking they deserve a piece of your efforts.
