A fiery Tennessee pastor told mask-wearing worshippers they should go pray somewhere else as he railed against the “buckwild demon-possessed government” in a politically-charged sermon.
“If they go through round two and you start showing up, all these mask and all this nonsense, I will ask you to leave,” Greg Locke of the Global Vision Bible Church told followers on Sunday.
“I am not playing these Democrat games up in this church,” he went on, telling congregants to go instead to the First Baptist Church if they want to social distance.
“I’m done with it. I said I’m done with it. I ain’t playing these stupid games.”
A video of the mass, posted to his Facebook page, shows the pastor getting worked up over the possibility of renewed restrictions amid a spike in coronavirus cases due to the Delta strain of the virus – which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said now accounts for over 80 percent of all cases.
“Don’t believe this Delta variant nonsense,” he says, the video shows. He then yells “Stop it! Stop it!”

He said during his sermon that he wouldn’t follow any further restrictions.
“They talk about shutting down this nation for round two, talk about masking everybody back up, shutting down churches,” he said. “Hey – my hind leg if they think they gonna shut this church down. I’m gonna go ahead and let you know that right now in the name of God.”
“They will be serving Frosties in hell ‘fore we shut this place down just cause a buckwild demon-possessed government tells us to,” he goes on.
“Knock on my door, ask me if I got a vaccine … Don’t let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.”
I like this guy.
I wish I lived in Tennessee to attend this church.
Amen.
I met him in Texas last year. He’s the real deal. Lol
It looks like this pastor is not making allowances for any parishioners who are elderly, and might be genuinely scared. He wants those folks to just pick up and go somewhere else? Just because they’re wearing a mask?
I’m no biblical scholar. But that approach doesn’t seem too biblical to me.
We have some masked and most unmasked attending our services. No one cares what someone else chooses to do.
There is no reason to be walking around wearing a mask. I do not recommend that you wear a mask. - Tony Fauci
Greg Locke does NOT hold or conduct “mass.” A little heads up to the writer.
> There is no reason to be walking around wearing a mask. <
I tend to agree with that. But I’m not sure, as we are being lied to and manipulated on all sides.
Anyway, why should that pastor care? If a person chooses to wear a mask in church, let him be. To the contrary, be happy that he is there. Harassing him is no different than some radical priest harassing a parishioner who comes to church wearing a military uniform.
I was at Aldies this week and their mask notice said if vaccinated no mask if not vaccinated wear a mask.
Well, maybe not but it got him some attention so it was successful.
They'll be plenty of time for that Bible stuff later.
90% of the elderly are vaccinated. Why should he care? Because masks are harmful. Masks are inhumane. Masks are for carjackers.
...but we love you too much to let you stay that way. Come and grow with us as we seek God’s will and show His love.”
Masks are for carjackers. Are you one of the carjackers?
Which we promptly ignore...
Yes. I didn’t see anyone in there wearing a mask.
> Why should he care? Because masks are harmful. <
There is some truth in that! But that’s not the argument this pastor is making. He’s not making a health argument. He’s making some sort of political argument instead. He’s doing the same sort of thing we criticize leftist pastors for doing.
Don’t get me wrong. I think this guy has good intentions. But he’s wrong here. If a parishioner genuinely thinks a mask is necessary, leave that person alone. Let him worship in his chosen church in peace.
Baptists celebrate Mass now?
