But in SCUBA class we were always taught to try not look like a seal floating on the surface. Get down to the bottom as soon as possible. Sharks look up for food for the most part.
Yes, but you do have to ascent the anchor line at some point. Try not to look like an easy mark.

Every chart and map I look at shows Florida still leading the world on shark attacks. True-The headline put on an article does not necessarily tell what the article message is.
The article is written about this country , of which Florida is a part. -Tom

By the time I figure out how use this phone, and get sharktivity, the summer will be over.-Tom

Build a line of 6 inch PVC pipes concreted into the sea floor, 3 feet apart, 100-200 yards offshore, filled with magnets. They require no power and marine growth will not change them. The sharks will avoid the area.............

And I would bet since that is on the Bay side, it is warmer than the ocean side beaches of Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet and Truro. Those beaches there are shut down daily by white shark sightings and pings on hydrophones.-Tom

The water might be a little colder but at least you might have some ....company.- Tom

I’m back to upstate, I imagine the closest I came to a GW was eating breakfast at Hanger B at the Chatham Airport last week.
