When I saw “controversial” in the headline, I assumed fetal cell lines were being used. These is umbilical cord-based stem cells, not controversial from a moral standpoint at all!

What’s controversial these days are medical approaches that don’t fit the “approved” current thinking from national and international governments/NGOs/Pharms.

Ditto, but then the following ref:

“The use of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells...”

Prolly a good idea to keep the umbilical stems cells on ice indefinitely.
