I think you can also blame the anti-gas vehicle crowd as well. Regulations on truck drivers have become so restricted as to how long they can be on the road in a day, as well as mandatory rest periods, that these multi-load 18 Wheelers are a necessity for getting things across the county. There is also a severe shortage of drivers.
