Can you elaborate? I can see possible miniaturization, but not much else.

You can only get thermal runaway in LENR cells under very limited conditions. It is much easier to simply build a fission bomb. The weaponization options are far more difficult for LENR than fission.

For instance, there’s very negligible radiation compared to fission. For a second case, the natural inclination of fusion cells is to repel, like trying to push 2 magnets together that are repelling — the Coulomb barrier is much stronger than the magnetic barrier.
