#22 I have read complaints that people who “OWN” the older Adobe software cannot reinstall on a pc if they need to. Adobe won’t approve the license. But if you “RENT” the new software then they can help you....
I use to use Dreamweaver CS6 for creating webpages then then newer software came along and it was only rent-able plus had not really improved but made more difficult to use with really small buttons.
No way was I going to pay $21/month. https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html Yet another bill.
I now use HTMLPad 2020 for $40. Once you learn the basics it is easy and quick to lay out a webpage. https://www.htmlpad.net
Photoshop has may competitors for what people use the most.
You’re right about PS; they would not approve the license for my CS6, when I upgraded to a new computer.
However, what really frosted me, and what I was referencing, was their total shutdown of Flash player last December.
For example, what NOAA had to replace it with for their local sat-rad website maps is worse then laughable.
Less control, less functionality, and worse rendering.
