Do people even buy watches, anymore? I’m sure you mean the new “smart” ones.

Cars are like this now, too. So’s your toaster oven, but it collects less data on travel.

I generally don't bring my phone with me anywhere, but do wear a Seiko self winding watch, and carry a GoPro whenever I'm doing something that might turn out to be an adventure. Maybe the latter can be tracked since it has blue tooth, but they would have to hack the thing to find the serial number and then trace it back to the lot that was sold to the store, and then the store would need to see who bought GoPros from them. Would they go arrest everyone who bought a GoGro from a major box store? Probably. We live in a nascent global police state. Unless people rise up like the Aussies and French and stop it now.
