Occasionally I sew using Teflon thread on outdoor/climbing equipment.

It is incredibly strong and comes with a warning NOT to attempt to hand break the thread, it will damage your hands.

But I doubt it would hold a wild animal?

Also, a Doctor friend was working in a Chicago ER when a guy BROKE the handcuffs from behind his back!!!

The copper broke a nightstick over the guy’s head!!!
Asking around, everyone says the cuffs must have had extreme wear?

Somebody on PCP could have enough of an adrenaline dump to break the cuffs. Probably did a number on his wrists in the process.
