They already know how to treat MS. Here is an article from 2011 on the success of fecal transplants.

The FDA won't allow fecal transplants on MS patients.

I shared that with my wife. We have extended family with MS, but it runs in that families generations.

It now looks like it is caused by an environmental issue.

That means something can likely be done for them through diet and probiotic use, if not fecal transplant.
