I do feel sympathy for Tokyo & Japan at this disaster, considering that the impetus for this bid was to show Japan's recovery from the 3 March 2011 9.0 Earthquake & Tsunami disaster! Now all of the athletes, other than the non-stadium sports, will be without spectators and public support. Will be interesting, on a psycho-sociological basis, to see if new world records are more or less on that scenario.

They should have gotten Shun Fujimoto, the gymnast who landed his mount on a broken leg to give Japan the Team Gold Medal....But noooooo, they had to go full SJW.
I hope the Japanese people protest to the point where it gets shut down. Polls there suggest that 80% do not want it.
