It looks like deaths are beginning to climb.

I think we’ll eventually average up to 500 daily deaths with this delta variant surge since this is hitting the unvaccinated right now.

I could post for other states, but it’s mostly the same story. About 95+ percent of hospitalizations and 99 percent of deaths are among unvaccinated people.

A small number of immune compromised elderly people that are vaxed are dying, but they are the exemption, as demonstrated in the above links. As it has always been, cases don’t really matter (unless you are an epidemiologist), only serious illness, hospitalization and death. The Delta variant is certainly causing a lot more breakthrough “cases”.
