If one is using secure dns, a vpn, and https, then it becomes much harder to hijack anything.

If they can hijack your seach querys for "Hillary", and redirect you, then they can hijack your connections to your bank and doctor. Clearly they are doing something nefarious.

Someone is getting paid off to allow this to happen.
