If his story checks out, I would assume he will be a subject of the Weather Channel program “Could you Survive”.
I’ll have to check the Weather Channel out for these types stories - I find them interesting and educational. As I mentioned, Les Stroud recreates the situations and provides tips, and what adding one or two things might have changed the situation.
There is also the show “I Shouldn’t be Alive”.
