Some 143 Israelis were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of Wednesday at 12 p.m., according to the Health Ministry. Fifty-eight percent of them were vaccinated, 39% were not and 3% were partially vaccinated, meaning they had taken one dose or a full week had not passed since their second shot.

Only one patient was a child. Five were pregnant women or women who recently gave birth.

Of the country’s 64 serious patients, including 17 in critical condition, there were 12 who were being invasively ventilated. However, while the percentage of vaccinated cases was high, the percentage of those who require invasive treatment was low: Only three fully vaccinated people were being invasively ventilated.

Also, only two people were connected to an ECMO external oxygenation machine, and neither of them were vaccinated.

“why don’t they ever mention the millions of Covid survivors who are immune from the virus?”

Good question. Government messaging has been atrocious.
There have been very limited attempts to determine overall population exposure or the state of natural immunity.

2 people at my husband’s place of work just had it, one had gastrointestinal symptoms and had a rough week, but is better now, the other had a headache and fever for 3 days and feels fine now. He had covid last winter so I’m guessing it’s the other strain. That’s assuming the tests are even accurate. No one in the household of either person caught it.

Just keep booster shots beside the fire extinguisher at all times.

When they said, for the vaccinated, “the chances of being hospitalized are zero,” they didn’t consider the effects of people having a suppressed immune system. What causes immunosuppression?

*Age. Our immune systems become less effective when we become elderly.

*Persisting (chronic) disease. Immune systems tend to become less effective as certain long-term illnesses progress. Examples include severe chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease and diabetes mellitus.

*Malnutrition.

*Medicines for illness caused by the immune system attacking itself (autoimmune conditions). Examples include rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease.

*Medicines in the form of oral steroids for conditions which result in inflammation where treatment is needed to reduce inflammation.

*Medicines taken to prevent rejection in people who have had organ or bone marrow transplants.

*Chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment for cancer

*Cancers. Certain cancers can cause immune suppression, particularly those which involve the blood cells which are so crucial to our immune system. Lymphomas, leukaemias and myeloma are the cancers which may suppress the immune system.

*Not having a spleen, due to it having been removed. Or having a spleen which does not work well. This can occur due to certain conditions such as sickle cell anaemia, thalassaemia major or lymphoma, or after radiotherapy.

*HIV and AIDS. The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) affects the immune system.

*Rare genetic conditions which result in loss of immune function - for example, severe combined immunodeficiency syndrome (SCID), DiGeorge’s syndrome, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome.

I would hope those experiencing COVID symptoms, even though they were vaccinated, get treated with something like Ivermectin or Remdesivir as soon as possible.

Well, all i can tell you is like I said. I caught it storming of the bastille day (DC) and had that one for about 4 or 5 days. Nasty little respiratory infection, head hurt like hell etc. It wasnt the illnes that seemed bad, its the after effects. We are still hacking.

This last one was a hell of a head ache, fever, and joints. Felt just like a bad case of the flu.

# days and that was it for that one.

...but having to go to the hospital means you are pretty darn sick..so again, what was the point of the vaccine

The 3rd quarter profit margin at Pfizer?

Coronavirus in Israel: What do we know about the 143 hospitalized people? Of the 143 hospitalized patients, 58% were vaccinated....

Odd how it’s just the opposite, in the USA, according to FRAUDci and even FRoctors.

Why would Israel (and UK ?) be having majority ‘vax’d hospitalized, but here...according to MSM/FRAUDci/FRocs .... it’s the un-’vax’d who are majority of china virus hospitalized?

🤔

143 hospitalized patients is not very high.

Only one is a child.

Therefore, the 58% of the hospitalized comes from the pool of 85-90% of the adult population fully vaccinated, and 42% comes from the pool of the 10-15% of the adult population not fully vaccinated. Therefore, assuming this data is accurate, it is quite clear the vaccinated are far more protected than the unvaccinated - and its not even close. Yet look at the comments. Are you people not in the least bit embarrassed?

what was the point of the vaccine

Do the math. The article says only 1 of the people hospitalized is a child. Therefore, accepting this article's information as accurate, it would appear 58% of the hospitalized are from the 85-90% of the fully vaccinated Israeli adult population and the remaining 42% are those not fully vaccinated from the 10-15% of the adult population.

As an illustration using these percentages, say you have 1 million adults. 850,000 of them would be vaccinated and 150,000 are not. Out of the pool of 850,000 people, you get 58% of the hospitalizations. Out of the pool of 150,000, you get 42% of the hospitalizations. The chances of hospitalization are therefore much, much lower for the vaccinated vs. unvaccinated, and it isn't even close.

So the majority of the new Covid cases are the “vaccinated” .

How do they test for the Delta variant? I have heard no one knows?

Australia claims they had 3 delta variant deaths, which are questionable, and they are going to lock down the entire country.

“Those vaccinated will shed virus but since they are vaccinated, the mutated virus will naturally be more severe rather than less because of the vaccine”

Isn’t the delta strain from India where vaccination rates are very low?
