And that’s the beauty of eating like that. I tried intermittent fasting. Didn’t work for me. Glad it works for you!
They are low carb enough, you can have more than one.
I kind of thought I’d be making more than one myself. But I’ve never needed to go back and make a second one. I don’t skimp on the mozzarella or the pepperoni.
You can make a bigger one by using two tortillas instead of one folded in half.
By the way, if you cut up a carb balance tortilla and spray it with olive oil, and then cook it in the air fryer for 2 or 3 minutes, it hardens up like a potato chip. Forgot the exact timing.
Anyone not a quadriplegic can lift and resistance train.
“I hate to pass this on, but the only thing that works past 60 is calorie control. You probably need to get below 2000 calories a day and closer to 1500 to lose weight.”
Input of calories is only 1/2 of the control. Exercise indeed (burning calories) is the other half. Work is what burns calories. The definition of work is force x distance. Typical cardio workouts do not have any extra weight (force). So you have to do more distance to do the same work. Then you also have to consider time. If you do the work faster (less time) you have more power.
Good core workouts with reasonable weight are the best way to do a lot of work in a short time. You body also reacts to this work pace or power level better than pure aerobics or heavy weights.
In the old days, humans had to toil for their food. By default they did more work / calorie consumption. At age 55 sitting behind the desk I weighed 235 lb. With a pair of kettle bells and 45 min. 3 x week I was down to 200 in one year. I did very little to change my diet. At 63 I am holding 190 and I am much stronger than I was at 55 and all of my biometrics are also better. I hate to pass this on, but you are making excuses.
Very nice. Ad hominum attacks are so “Democrat”. I don’t have a problem, (I am rabidly calorie conscious and my wife drags me along on all her cardio stuff) but am around a lot of former military who have to watch the calories because they do not have the ability to weight train or cardio at the rate some of the people here are able, both physically and fiscally, to do.
Cutting down their calories, especially from carbs and sugar, helps a lot of issues, not just weight. But it is far easier for some, who have been blessed to be able to do all of the suggestions posted, to point fingers like Donald Sutherland in the Body Snatchers.
Sorry my line in the sand is red wine. š
That arthritis is a real bitch
bump for reference
Do you have arthritis pain? Many people on the carnivore diet say it has helped with that.
No I don’t but know some who do.
I agree but the low carb diet gurus say it goes first.
I think it cleans up a fatty liver pretty fast. My AST reading went from 48 to 20 something in six months.
I also used to be an amateur bodybuilder. But, again, my body won't allow aggressive, heavy lifting any more. Now it's mostly stretching with resistance.
Thank you! Iām on it.
