They aren't making fun of Paul and Fauci. They're making fun of the rest of us for making a big deal about their fussing and calling each other a liar. Our fascination with it is like "wrestling" fans paying to watch a highly promoted rematch.

It's kind of like the movie Galaxy Quest didn't make as much fun of Star Trek itself as it made fun of Trekkies.

Oh yes I knew that. But my mistake in addition was not being aware that there was this new round of the Fauci/Rand Paul face-off, which now that I saw it yesterday, was considerably more test and confrontational than I’ve yet seen. Having said that, Paul is the only one doing this, and it is NOT ENOUGH.
