Part of this is Trump’s fault. When he appointed the clueless Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, the corrupt officials within FBI, CIA, NSA, State and the military were not only safe but were free to continue their subterfuges. Trump wanted to fire Sessions. His was blocked by the GOP Senate. Nobody could have forecast Sleepy Sessions betrayal. He was Trump’s very first supporter in the Senate.

Trump was threatened with “obstruction” if he cleaned out Comey and the other crooks. The GOP-e stood firmly behind that assertion. Trump thought he was being above-board by keeping them on, and letting them do their thing.

Boy was he wrong. I hope he gets in again, because he won't stand for that again, despite the howls and caterwaul from the MSM and swamp that do get rid of these criminals is “obstruction.”

I am not sure that Sessions was even clueless. He knew he was going to recuse himself before he accepted the appointment and did not tell Trump. That was dishonorable and he may have been a deep state plant even then.
