Whenever I hear a lot of one band that is ‘old’ music (to my children at least) it is typically because they are having a concert locally, one of their songs was featured in a movie, or one of their band member passed on. As time goes on it is more often the last reason.
I’ve been hearing a lot of Cheap Trick lately, but haven’t learned why yet.
One of the best concerts I ever went to was in about 1976 -— Kansas was the main ticket and the warm up, a group of unknowns (at that time) Cheap Trick. Great memories!
