“Folks think sexual immorality is freedom,-it isn’t, it is bondage to sin”.
Very good statement. Sometime in the distant past, in Catholic school, one of the teachers put forward the idea that the more a society turns to immorality the more oppressive the government becomes.
We can see exactly what this teacher was trying to point out just looking where our society is today. While trotting out all forms of sexual madness our government is tightening its grip on speech, the economy, and eventually our religious institutions (The “Equality Act” of 2021, H.R. 5).
Bingo. Truth.
I think the current problems really took off with the rise of Progressive philosophy, which despises Christianity and constraints on government.
It started picking up about 1890, but writers such as Mark Twain were early precursors.
I believe Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) was an early anti-Christian, as was Rudyard Kipling.
Robert A. Heinlein is a later example.
Very few writers today write from a Christian worldview.
Almost all did before 1900.
Yup, that equality act is straight from the bowels of hell itself
