It can go from simple to more complex problems. A very important part of the federal government’s work is the free flow of interstate commerce. By creating an opinionate based investigation of anything that is moved from point to point while withholding pertinent information thus retarding the movement of goods, they are violating their powers determined by the Supreme Court.

And anything that is so broad based as what they are saying they are going to do is not going to be workable as the determination of the importance of what would be challenged, and in what manner, it will open them up to libel, slander, and destruction of property lawsuits that would increase the national debt.

And besides that, it places law makers in a position to take advantage of property and stocks thus creating an appearance to conflict of interest. It’s just one of those slippery slopes they are creating for themselves using public money.
