Maybe this is a stupid question, but is this the first time we’ve continued to test vaccinated people on a massive scale to see if they are infected with a disease they’re already vaccinated for? Maybe this is normal and the powers that be are just wrapped around the axle because they’re so invested in seeing negative tests rather than using hospitalized patients and deaths as a measurement.
Yes. To begin with, in the history of PCR testing (or any viral and/or bacterial testing), we’ve never tested the sheer volume of people that we’re testing now. It’s never happened, nothing comes remotely close.
We do know, for certain, that in the history vaccinations, no vaccine is really 100% effective. Depending on the disease and its vaccine variants, we’ve definitely seen fully vaccinated people not only contract the disease, experience symptoms of the disease but also actively spread the disease going back to the first polio vaccine formulations.
But, in terms of vaccination distribution and testing, we’re are entirely in waters that have never been navigated both in terms of epidemiology, virology and vaccinology.
