I fast between 6:00 pm and 10:00 am three or four days a week. Fasting & Keto I’ve lost 40 pounds in less than a year.
Doing a daily 20/4 fast is easier for me than drastically reducing calories every day. I’ve done a 24 hour fast, a 48 hour fast, a 72 hour fast, and a 7 day fast. I’ll probably do extended 7 day fasts once every month or so, but will switch back and forth from alternate day fasting to 48 hour fasting just to keep from doing the same thing all the time.
I’m glad to have found a GP who supports intermittent fasting and a ketogenic/low carb lifestyle in the treatment of T2D. I’m hovering right at a 30 pound weight loss since 4/27/21.
