And to think, there was a time when Greenland was warm enough to grow crops. That is why the Vikings settled there.

Then the cold weather set in to make it what it is today, as Greenland appears to be returning to the way it was originally when settled.

#9/ Volcanic action/heat under some glaciers is known to or suspected of melting them faster and causing them to move faster than usual.

Makes sense to me.
