If I’m not mistaken, Little Linda bought some empty capsules and put the paste in them for easy ingestion. I really ought to look into that, though if I’m facing the Rona, I’d probably just take my medicine with its distinct apple flavor.
That’s exactly what I did. Any compounding pharmacy sells gelatin capsules in various sizes. I got the big ones, size 00, and I use the flat part of a regular toothpick to scoop out my dose. There’s no bad taste going down and only a mild aftertaste about 1/2 hour later.
The full tube is good for one 1250 pound animal, so take 1250 and divide it by your weight. 1250/115 pounds, for example, is almost 11 doses per tube. Estimate how much 1/11th of the tube would be and push that much gel out from the bottom using the plunger. You can’t overdose on it so don’t worry about being too exact. I used a ruler for the first estimate and then just eyeballed it after that. Take it once a week for prophylaxis. I’ve been taking it prophylactically since February, travelled lots of places without a mask, and I’ve been fine. I’ve had 10 of those nasal swab PCR tests forced on me as a requirement to board planes and all have been negative. If those tests are pre-seeded with the virus to increase the case count, as some propose, I’m escaping it by using the ivermectin on a regular basis.
