I apologize for laughing, but I rarely answer the phone or the door unless I know who’s calling on me. They can knock until their knuckles bleed and I just won’t answer. I don’t even have a curiosity about who it might be, and if it’s the phone, I turn the ringer off if it becomes bothersome.
So it’s certainly unethical, and may be unconstitutional, but it will definitely be unproductive here. If NOBODY answered, they’d have to stop the program, unless it’s simply an employment program.
